New windshield, starter, hvac control module...then I lit some of my money on fire and threw it in the ocean.

Update on mypower steering leake, it's not the pump or hoses they are all fine, it's the power streeing gear box that's squirting fluid out, now I have to decide do I want to replace it compleatly or just redo the seals.
and while I was talking to a mechanic about it I noticed teh passenger side front door was slightly out of alignment and bent out so I opend the door and bend the frame back in the 1/4" it was pulled out then I notices a LOT of small scratches and dents, someone TRIED to pry the door open to try and unlock it! I called the police and filed a report and they said they typically do not see this type of B&E, it's usually Smash and Grab around here! they said it was good I had the club on it and nothing visable for them to steal, and I called my insurance co. they are sending out an adjuster to take a look at it and cut me a check for the repairs. so does anyone know how to fix the alarm that came with these ZJ's????
Tell us what dealer it was so we know never to go there lol!

On the ZJs the alarm will not go off if somebody tampers with your door until they actually get it open. It only monitors the ignition and the door switches so it has no clue whats going on until the door is opened. If they also manage to start the car with the alarm enabled, the ZJ will also kill the engine after a second or two. If you want to test it lock the Jeep with the window open then wait 20 seconds. The light in the windshield should be flashing red slowly. Reach in through the window and open the door. If alarm goes off the factory system is working correctly. Disarm with key fob or using key in the door. For reference our WJs are the same but you can disable the alarm and start the Jeep with a programmed SKIS Key in the ignition.

Actually it's stored both in the cluster and the ECM. The cluster will display the mileage of the cluster, but the ECM holds the original (true) mileage numbers so that folks can't roll back just by changing the cluster out.

yeah. I live in Texas so it's pretty flat and dry here. I still found it to be quite fun to go driving around in a field

Rough country sells the 1.5" spacers. I have them on my XJ and they are just as good as the spidertrax ones I have on the WJ.
