Bought them from a Toyota at the junk yard, made a template and cut it out... If your planning on doing it becareful not to cut too close to the brakets as the inserts won't fit. Measure 10 times cut once.

Isn't that light oil . Don't you want heavier oil?

Jeep recommends the lighter oil, but depending on where you live and climate you may or may not want heavier. Lighter is better for weather that itsnt cold but not too hot, heavier is better for colder/hotter. Since he is in Norway i thought it was pretty cold

I have allways been using syntetic 5w-30 in my 4.7 Jeep. My service manual from Jeep says that if temp is going under 0 degrees celcius, you should choose 5w-30, if not you can use a higher weight Oil. But 5w-30 is recomended.

The i6 likes 10w-30 (5w-30 for winter) but the 4.7 recommends 5w-30 year round

Today... I loaned my Jeep to my roommate. The deal is if I let him use it for the week he'll pay for gas, a car wash, and buy me the rear A-arm ball joint it so desperately needs.

As long as there's a no offroading clause. Winning

It's a Jeep, it's not supposed to work right all the time.

today, it was linseed oil and paint thinner on the cladding as well as fabbing wire mesh up behind my grille. id really suggest a treatment with the oil and paint thinner for those that still havent messed with their original cladding.

Had all of my windows stop working while they were completely down. Checked the wires in the boot going to the drivers door and sure enough, the black ground wire was completely broke. Fixed that and an orange wire that was also broke. Windows work and my keyless entry works way better than it did.
