^Khaos02, looks like your 02 sensor wiring. Peel back the plastic casing and see if the wires are ok, if they are just zip tie it up out of the way and call it a day.

that wasn't it, drained it, still had the problem. but, got it washed today, and now it drives much better. and no more noises, except brake squeal, might need rear pads.

Recieved some oil and parts for My upcoming 144000 km service.

Did both front and rear diff, drained Them, cleaned Them out with brake cleaner, cleaned magnet, sealed with RTV and refilled Them with Royal Purple 75W-140 syntetic gear oil.

Great day,  happy Jeep, happy owner.

Over the past couple weekends I have replaced the parking brake shoes on both rear hubs; replaced both rear calipers when the bleeder screws, subject to 9 years and 150,000 miles of grime, sheared off rather than backing out; painted new rear calipers red before putting them on to match the front; replaced outer (soft) brake hose on both sides for the rear brakes as well.

Removed driver and passenger front door interior panels and replaced several broken retainer clips, now doors close up nice and don't rattle.

Had a new noise came on strong over past 2 months or so - I initially thought it was a dragging brake (hence all the brake work described above). Then had new wheel bearings and axle seals done (they were leaking) - still noisy. Took it down to local gear shop for a second opinion on noise from the rear end, will be taking it back in soon for a complete center body bearing job (inner/outer pinion and carrier bearings) - about 150,000 miles on it. Estimate for job is $770 parts, labor, taxes, environmental fees, etc.

Just Empty Every Pocket!!

Why not just hunt up an entire axle and do a drive way swap?
