Changed the oil and filter yesterday (I went with Mobil1 0w-30 this time) and changed out the fuel filter/regulator earlier today (151,180 miles on it). Wasn't too bad once you figured out how the connectors worked. My rough-ish idle has disappeared.

Replace the front bearings and bled the breaks today. I'm blown away by how easy it was for the bearings. No pressing or packing grease. Just unbolt and bolt. Flippin sweet! Rides super sweet now. 

Was that 0w-30 and not 10w-30? Why so not think? Can't think of a word? Water like. Haha

Spent the afternoon purging the AC system. 30 minutes of vacuum + 15 minutes leak detect + 20 minutes vacuum followed by the fill and oil. Final pressures after 24 oz. R134a and 2 oz compressor oil was 55 psi/Low Pressure and 260 psi/High Pressure @ 107 deg F today in Tucson. Should be 45 psi/Low Pressure and 300-370 psi/High Pressure @ 110 deg F per the FSM. 'Pressure Diagnosis' says the compressor is to blame. All I need to do is get through the next 3 months and then the windows alone will do it till next summer.

Started getting the "TIRE SENSOR BAD/MISSING" message on my EVIC today. Still getting pressure readings from all 4 tires (only a 4-tire system). Probably need to replace all the sensors.

Replaced the front rotors and calipers today. Found a lot more rust than I expected on the axle tubes/knuckles. I hope its just normal surface rust. We shall see.

Did you use a Vacuum gauge? like micron rating?

Yellow Jacket 8CFM Vacuum pump.

Oldman does commercial heating and air so eh. actually your supposed to compensate 2 ounces for the hoses. so more like 26 ounces but eh.

No gauge used during the vacuum session. The Harbor Freight vacuum pump I bought advertises 75 Micron. I had thought about a gauge but did not want to set myself up for disappointment in the event the pump did not work as advertised.

That is a good looking pump you show in your response. Good to have connections...:-)...!

Anything under 1000 Micron is a keeper. that one is 8CFM it pulled it to 450micron in under 20minutes

that's an $900 yellow jacket 2 stage 8 cfm pump lol.

Tip the louder the Vacuum pump is the less vacuum it has, they get quiet the LARGER the vacuum their pulling

So leave her run blindly for 20-30 minutes close your gauges not to lose to much vacuum, attach your r134a purge the hose to the gauges then let open you gauges weigh out what you need, IF you have to start the jeep Close the High side it will be a higher pressure than the jug and you will be feeding the jug... after your done close the gauges and disconnect your good.

It was 0w-30 (zero dubya thirty). Protects as well as any 30-grade oil when warmed up, but flows better at engine startup.

Mostly, less wear on start up. Some say better fuel economy (not sure I believe that one or not). Its actually marketed as a "fuel economy oil".

I decided to change to this grade of oil after reading this article.

Drove my WJ back from Pismo Beach / Oceano Dunes last night, and got her almost all cleaned up today. Still have to do some cleaning underneath to get off the some pesky sand that the car wash didn't get. I had a great time, and was on the beach and back in the dunes every day of the week. Needless to say, having a WJ is pretty darn awesome!

I also had my dad take a few videos of me having some fun, so here they are!

Do you like your A/C? If so i'd be lifting it because your condenser is where you hit.
