Akro - Looks like your driverside SS bracket is loose.


Just finished my dual steering stabilizer kit on and my projectors will be here in a few days. Wednesday I can start building my sliders finally.

That seems to be a problem, for me at least. I had those f'ers loosen up on me on the trail (three times since i have owned them)...i got back on the road and the stabilizer was jerking the WJ everywhere...had to loctite the threads...

What would happen if a shop (or anyone) torqued lug nuts over 100 or so lbs (on spacers)...or whatever lbs they get with an impact wrench? Would the spacers be toast?

something about warping rotors...and depending on the grade of the studs on spacers maybe shear them off, break them and what not....

100 ft/lbs is around spec...they should be fine...

uh seat belt.... the gf was wearing hers... I guess I'll do the seat belt mod in the morning, do a write up and post it in my board's build thread.
As for the trucks, they're Randall RIIs with 42degree baseplates and venom bushings.
and what did I do to the WJ today? I drove it to downtown Sac with some old friends from high school, had a blast and GOT 16MPG!!!!

Did the AZC resistor block harness repair, (replaced the blower motor and squirrel cage earlier as part of the complete repair, not just the harness).
Now the Warden has A/C = Happy Times.

....Well... today I was going to fix the problem that my door is having (doesnt open from the outside but opens from the inside)...but then yesterday I got home with a frozen treat and was about to go in my apt and eat it but then, as I put the car in park and started rolling up all the windows... THE MOTHER F-ING REAR WINDOW REGULATOR BROKE!!!!! I HATE THOSE FREAKIN THINGS!!! This is the second time one has broke! They are so expensive and so so so poorly made! So I had to delay eating my frozen treat so I can rig a way to keep my window up till I could fix it. SO TODAY I have to fix the 2-fer on that door. The window and the opening problem.

...oh and I just turned 112k yesterday after noon!

Chrome wont get you home! Better black it out if you wanna see your baby tonight.

Just got back from putting my new wheels on - I had them transfer the tires from my old wheels until I save up enough for some larger tires. My 2" BB will be going in next weekend if I can find the time.
