Still have mine in a box since Christmas. I'm probably going to take it somewhere, the information just isn't there online. I can't believe it in today's world. At least I know a guy who will do it really cheap for me, hopefully we'll do they install together so I can learn.

Blue? Interesting.

We use red here for POVs. Blue is for cops only here.

Go to New Mexico, the tow trucks there use blue. That one really screwed with me one night driving down I-10.

Is deer season still in there or did you pull that out of the freezer?

Back on topic I foound the broke wire that's causing me to not be able to roll down my Windows or lock my doors when the driver door is open but I can't reach it? Besides taking the whole door off I'm out of ideas

Personally, I think it should be a nation wide thing that cops use blue, fire use red/white, and anything else (tow trucks) use yellow only.

I am on 2 different fire depts one in NC one in Ga. NC I can have all the red lights I want on my vehicle. Ga requires a permit and those are only issued to officers (in this county).

Anyway. sorry for the thread jack. Carry on.

Had the Kolak 3 inch exhaust system installed. Sounds great, About .5-1 mpg increase, can definitely feel a gain in HP, and I love the look of the chrome tip, it was worth every penny.

Blue for Volunteer FD and EMS on POV's unless you are Chief/Deputy Chief then you can have Red/Blue combo. All PD has Red/Blue combo. FD is all Red. EMS is Red/Blue also.

NJ requires me to have a special permit to run my Blue lights as well.

Just an FYI to people on here, stay away from using colors like Red/Blue unless you want some trouble with the LAW. They don't look at it kindly here if you aren't emergency responder using those colors. Jail time, loss of license, and hefty fines.

Yeah, I've read a couple of threads from different sites. Unfortunately, they don't apply to my WJ. I still can't find anything for my red headed step child of a Jeep.

On topic... I changed my oil and had to bolt an exhaust NVH hanger back on.
