New plugs! 38k miles on the last set of stock Champions. I always dread the last two plugs and am always second guessing whether I was able to get the full 1/2 turn on them.

yea and 3" springs front and rear are $300 from iro,

cant believe the upcountry springs are so much but it from mopar.

only asked since i want to add upcountry spring to my 2" BB since my shocks are rated for 3" but i see its better to sell the pucks and get the 3" springs lol

I pulled my exhaust "y" down, dropped my oil pan, removed rod caps and inspected trying to figure out my engine noise. YAAAAAAY what a fun day so far!!!

Funny you mention that, that's one of the projects I'm considering. I'm trying to get a good look at some existing designs for ideas or to more or less copy.
I don't have any experience with them. I figure if I stay away from bent tubing designs I can probably handle it. I'll most likely work on a set for Sally (the XJ) first.

My oil pan is real rusty, I want to replace it myself. How hard was it to get at those y pipe bolts? Any tips would be helpful. Also, I read in my 2001 FSM that the gasket is meant to be re-used if not damaged. What kind of shape did yours come away in?
