Right rear, To be exact. The piston is froze in place. Even with a C-clamp, I could not get it to budge.

no, can't run inside. not sure if i want to mount it directly over the sunroof, or right behind it. but i still need to buy lights first. if money's the problem you should do the layaway as i did.

You can get 4 KC Daylighters at a place like PEP boys for about 100 a pair. There are also a variety of 'knock offs' that look/function very similar at wallymart for a fraction of the cost. Harbor Freight also sells some cheap ones.
You could always upgrade later.

my mother thought that the blanket would protect the plastic from cracking if i slammed the hatch on it. but i just opened the glass and double checked as i closed. an inch to spare!
speaking of rear hatch. does anyone elses door alarm go off if they do not SLAM the back hatch shut? ive tried greasing the latches several times and it only works for a day or so.

its definitely out of adjustment... itll think its closed so it locks and arms but the slightest bit of pressure will cause the Jeep to think its open. I'd check to see if the sensor is loose. Mine sometimes wont read if I dont slam it but it isnt flaky, it either thinks its open or shut. Probably going to look into adjusting that

Perhaps your door close switch needs to be adjusted

layaway is when you make payments on it, how ever much you want, once it's paid off they'll ship it.
