how is the sound in the cabin? can you still hear your music and everything and have conversations and some peace without the sound of the flowmaster taking over? and did you just replace the muffler? and thats it? ive been looking into getting a super 44 for a while

Today i removed both front and rear diffs for my axle swap. I got the front varilok axle , RE upper adj ca's, and my iro upper spring retainers all installed. I would have had the 44a installed as well but once i got my 35 out i didnt like how my jeep was starting to show signs of rust from these ohio winters. Plus ive been seeing a couple threads lately about people ca mounts rotting off, so i decided to try and stop the rust as best i could. So i took a wire wheel to the rear underside to knock all the scale off, then used some 80grit on the good metal, then put on a coat of chassis saver. Let me tell you, that stuff is thick and messy! I strongly suggest a full body suit when applying this stuff overhead. I have it all over my arms and stuck in my hair. Im not mad though cause its looking really good underneath. For the rest of the night i plan on another coat of chassis saver, and maybe getting the rc quick discos installed.

Sound in cabin is louder than it was but not annoying yet. Music is no problem, im running infinity kappa's and a 15" sub both on amps. Conversation wise I havent had to raise my voice more than usual. My super 44 is now outta the equation as it was interfering with my transfer case skid, now its just the high flow cat. I had the exhaust shop run 3" pipe starting from the manifold back to magnaflow cat, then the super 44. Good sound, a lot of people say its too loud. I liked it, but my current sound is by far my fav

Wj What did I do to my WJ?

I installed my BB (from Daystar) yesterday, found one rear shock is shot, so now the next step will be to replace all 4. I drove to work this morning and I just loved the ride. I don't know if it's my imagination, but leaving the stock spacers on the new urethane spacers really makes the Jeep really quiet. What's the Bilstein shock model that is most recommended for 2" BB?
2003 GC Laredo, 62,800 original miles, riding on 245/75/16 Yokohama Geolandars mounted on stock wheels. Ready to pit for my friends at the upcoming Baja 500 in Ensenada, Baja (Mexico)

Hey man sounds sweet, I've got a daystar lift sitting in my closet, going to install it this weekend and run it for a while before I can afford my BDS coils. When we did the kit on my friend's WK it definitely quieted down the suspension big time. I'm interested on how it'll ride on a WJ. You're going to want Bilstein 5100s, I talked to Kolak and he said the Bilstein HDs are for stock height vehicles.

I got my WJ inspected and started sourcing rocker panels to attempt to repair the current rusty ones.

Replaced the IAC and TPS, now she idles like a sleeping puppy. Short history, she'd drop to 400 rpm at idle. I've cleaned the IAC several times. Finally replaced at 109k, should have replaced long ago.
