Today I washed it up and installed a mopar hood protector. Technically its called a 'sport bra' but I'm going with hood protector haha.

I need that bra^ the hood on my WJ is rusting on the leading edge and I need to hide it, probably getting an AVS bug shield until I can get a new hood....

Friday my key wouldn't turn back to lock but would still come out of ignition, also the shifter required no pushing the brake or button to move from one gear to another. This was scaring me as I couldn't turn the key to the acc position either, and had been able to do so earlier in the day.

Several hours after discovering these new features and being pissed off about a potential ignition tumbler issue, I found what it was. The stupid rubber button cover on the shifter came loose and got lodged between the button and the shifter holding the button in half way. Solution was rip the cover out of the shifter and throw it in the trash, problem solved and won't happen again.

Don't you guys know, for men it's called the Bro not a Bra.

WThorn, getting the Bro or Bra for your jeep will cover up the rust but will make the rust on the leading edge get worse. I've seen this as my sister tired on her old mazda and the hood never dried out after rain, the bro/bra kept it wet and the rust spread even faster. Best thing I would recommend is sand a little and just primer/paint the edge.

Yeah I know it won't fix anything, just cover it up and it'll continue to get worse. I may prime it after cleaning it up before some sort of cover goes on to slow it down. The hood as is is fixable but I don't believe in fixing holes in hoods while there are plenty available without the holes.

I'm not using good primer if I decide to clean it up before covering it, I'll probably buy some duplicolor spray can garbage rather than using my HVLP.

.... and a Hybrid conversion!

Added a Deflectoshield II bug shield. Added a Panavise mount to the right of the radio for an IPod holder. Converted my 4.7L to a hybrid by adding a hybrid sticker just under the V8 emblem!

Well, the dealership gave me 5k for my jeep, so i trade it in tomorrow. Its a Sad day but 390 HP sounds great too.
