Do a google for wj high pressure steering hose leak. For the tech bulletin, iirc, it is found from wj jeeps.com. There is some good reading on all Ye little crap wrong with these wjs in the bulletin.

some of the 6.5 IRO kit came so i swapped on the rear lower LCA's and all four shocks. Going to finish the kit when the flex end joints come in.
This is how she sits so far.

This! Its getting there slowly. For a swing out is as close to the hatch as I could get it....about 50mm to the tyre wall. First time ive put the spare on it. Even though its only tacked together its pretty solid. Sorry about pic quality....its nearly dark here and flash is very poor...old camera!

I finished installing my CB, 4' Firestik, and PA speaker. Nothing original, another mod I owe completely to the forum

Finally got around to slowing the rust down on my AWESOME rola rack. I don't think I've had it a year yet. I should have sealed it up right the first time.

I have a flip case for my cell phone and I use the cord to hang my phone on and basically use as a dash mount for GPS and bluetooth music/ calls to my head unit. got the idea from this video

Driver's side arm rest had a few cracks in the leather. Had my interior guy come down and fix it. Looks brand new!

Parked it :-(

She has had a tick for years (the past 80K miles) but yesterday she finally started knocking. I got her home and parked her. Right now I am debating on getting an engine from the JY for 850 and swapping it in or a rebuild on the current engine. The swap will be quicker but, I only know it came out of a 2004 WJ and it has around 125K on it (which is half of what mine has).

I am really thinking that I could potentially rebuild mine and save around 400 bux...

Thoughts?

rebuild all the way, for half as much money youll get double the mileage out of it.

Looked at long arm upgrades all day. Can't decide on IRO or the Clayton kit. Either way the shocks are gonna get swapped out to bilsteins. Anyone running either arms?

New valve cover gasket!.........unfortunately I f***d myself by using a half inch drive ratchet to tighten the valve cover and ended up snapping a couple valve cover bolts , Yes not one but 2. Yeah I know I'm an idiot, I should've took a lunch break, instead of rushing to make it to dinner... but when I get hungry I do stupid things. Good news is its not leaking...... yet, so at least I got some time before have to pull it again and fix my f-up.
