Going to was it then tint the front Windows here in a few. Then I have to fix the bracket that moves the sunroof because mine snapped when the window was frozen closed(dumb mistake) then do the usual fluid checks and other stuff. Also ordered a front brake kit I'll have in a few days.
As I roll down the trail,I hope my traction will not fail. But if I spin & begin to slide, please dear lord protect my ride
Drove it to hospital to have stitches out of the finger I tried to slice off with a utility knife a couple of weeks ago (see a previous post in this thread!). I went through the tendons and most of the way through the knuckle. The pin with the yellow end goes through the the first two bones to keep it rigid whilst the tendons and joint heals! I did the across cut...the surgeons did the other two to get to the tendons. I watched them do it under a local...interesting and skilled work! Have to wear an external brace as well. You would not believe how much it gets in the way and restricts what I can do on the Jeep! Still allowed to drive though so thats good.
Note well worn and hands from oil damage and ground in dirt. No one touches my Jeep but me!
If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got yourself an electrical problem!
Ended up finding a rebuilt caliper on Advance Auto's website for $41 after tax and a 30% discount code. I guess I'll be doing that this weekend, the weather is supposed to be nice on Sunday here in Jersey.
Side note, I found a black 2000 Limited for $700. V8, heated seats, sunroof, bla bla bla. I was told that it needs an engine, that's all I know. I might go take a look at it this weekend, too.
installed a power outlet to the back cargo area, and oil change and topped off the atf fluid was a bit low due to i did the filter not too long ago, vacuumed 3/4 of the jeep before my shop vac died,
love having that power outlet in the cargo area, so neat! lol
I pulled the power outlet from a liberty from the JY,
