I've got a zr2 blazer and I'm so tired of the 4x4 never working or when it wants too. Its s great truck when it wants to be. But I do like my wifes jeep more.

A lot more slick hill climbs and rock climbs, but I did not get pics. Some in my group did, so I hope to post more. This was my first time off road with the WJ and I loved it. The Vari-Loc Axles worked awesome, now to swap in a 242hd and I will be gold.

I like the winch setup. Not too crazy of a design, but it works. What is it? (And the attachment too if that is separate)

Rough Country, $229.00 from Amazon, and I drilled the holes for the tow hooks. The winch is a Badlands from Harbor Freight, $299.99

How do you like the lift? hows ride quality?

OT: driving to work tonight the jeep started smoking from behind really bad and a burning smell. Shortly after my jeeps transmission started slipping really bad. Assuming I blew a tranny line... it in the lot now but I didnt get a chance to take a look. Ill have to check in the morning. Oh joy!

Tranny fluid really likes to burn. Be careful!

Looks good. Did you do the lift yourself?
How's the handling and how much trimming was done?

Yes I did the lift with myself and a friend took us almost exactly 6 hours to do it all. So far I'm liking it buy only have like 30 miles on it lol still have to get it all aligned and stuff yo finish it as well as install the new steering stabilizer but without having all that done yet to be honest it rides better to me now than before I did the lift .... As far as trimming I'm going to be doing that in the morning so I can update and comment more on that later

Here is a link yo my build thread which I will be adding loads more pictures and reviews of everything as I go
