got it figured out, but unfortunately...the new/used booster is just like the old one. guess i'm just gonna have to buy a new one.....
i did find a thread that had the solution. guess I had accidentally pushed the plunger in to far taking things apart. took some pliers and gently pulled it out. you'll hear a ratching sound coming from it but the plunger will pull out. problem fixed, other then having to redo the booster again.

Put on some 1.5" wheel spacers today. Looks much better. The first picture is before the spacer went on. It put the wheel just a bit out from the fender instead of it being just tucked in.

The front drivers side shock was bad. New shocks feel real good, very happy with em. Ride stiffened up a tiny bit, not as bouncy or lane wanderer. Jeep is not my daily driver - my foul weather, dog hauler, & grocery getter

FREE!!! Just went out and pulled the leather seat cover back and looked for either a burn mark from where the wire burned out or a broken wire. The driver seat, the wire that goes from the backrest to the bottom cushion broke right at the bend. I just stripped back the wire cover, twisted it back together and taped it up. Fixed! The passenger seat the wire burned up right in the middle of the bottom cushion, it was super obvious. I cut the burnt part out, about 2-3 inches worth. Then I just took about a 3 inch piece of speaker wire (about the same diameter as the wire that was burnt) and twisted it in, taped it up and voila, it worked! I don't have any experience with wiring or anything either, I was just determined to make it work, figured it isn't that complicated and I was right.

Thanks man, i went with these;

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00A86...ef=mp_s_a_1_10

They're quite a lot cheaper then the other brands and they seem well made and work perfect.

I bought from the same seller for my zj. They've been on for 6 months and I have no complaints. I've re-checked the torque 3 times since and all good.

OT: fitted my roof rack in preparation of an upcoming road trip. Picked up the Highland by Reese off Amazon. Normally $93, but Amazon warehouse deal for $61 :-) Looks similar to the Rola but less expensive. Seems like good quality so far. We'll see how it holds up.
