Disappointed to hear that. I'll try them. If they do as you said, I will just give them to my brother-in-law and just consider it a birthday present. Thanks for the info.

Instead of screwing it up, I just paid a shop to change them while they replaced the compressor this past summer.

I had to buy a replacement radiator. My plastic welding repair job lasted 8 months, but now there's new cracks showing up where the upper hose mounts to the plastic top tank. Now I need a break in the weather so I can change it over.

Yeah that F@$&ING transmission dipstick. Wow. Next time I will start with that plug and get the hard stuff out of the way first. Thanks!

Yeah, those plugs were definitely 'well used'. Glad you were able to get them changed relatively easy, even with fighting the trans disptick.

Got my last piece for my hitch mounted spare carrier (round plate to attach wheel too). Can do most fabrication stuff myself but cant cut circles in 5mm steel! Could have used a square piece of plate as you wont see it with wheel mounted....but i would know it was there and I want to bolt it on with all five bolts and to look right....so round would look best IMO.

The plate was laser cut....amazingly smooth and shiney edges! I know...Im sad...but I like engineering and well engineered stuff!

I'll have to add that socket to my collection of tools. The rubber boot socket only works half the time.

Best $7 I've spent. Especially if you have the V8. Couldn't imagine messin around the last two plugs (closest to the firewall) without the magnet!!
