Picked up a set of 5 mint Sahara 18's for $125 (gotta get them powder coated and get some tires) and installed a set of Rockford Fosgate speakers in the rear doors. Its getting there...

I got the bar from eBay. It's 42"
I cut the bottom feet off the mounting brackets. Then I drilled a hole through it and the roof rail.

Exactly, we ALL start somewhere. On every vehicle you ever own, you're going to have to learn new things about it.

For instance, my 04 WJ is easy as pie for me to change the oil on but my wife's 99 Lincoln Town Car is a PITA because of where the filter is mounted, right above the front end and exhaust so I always wind up getting oil all over the exhaust and it smells like hell for a day or two after I change the oil in it.....I'm sure there's an easier way but on the plus side I have gotten to where I use about 2 cans of non-chlorinated brake cleaner afterwards and it cleans it all up pretty well without too much hassle.

Non-Chlorinated brake cleaner......That's the sweet spot right there. Don't bother with the stuff in the red can (the chlorinated stuff) because it doesn't clean nearly as well. Go for the brake cleaner with the green label that says "NON-CHLORINATED". The caveat is that it is MUCH more flammable but it CUTS oil. The other stuff to me is about the equivalent of washing it off with hot water. It leaves a residue that non-chlor doesn't leave.

Next question......How the heck did I get onto a 3 paragraph diatribe on what brake cleaner you should use?

Mine has the trail rated badge, but I wouldn't think of taking it on a trail in it's current condition. I need tires....BADLY. But I'm waiting on tax season deals and I'm being pretty picky about what tire to choose that won't mandate a lift that I might not have the $$$ for. Chances are though that I'll have to get at least a BB to put the smallest size BFG A/T KO tires that I've been able to find on my stocker without having to trim and I haven't yet gotten to that level of expertise.

Well, after driving around for a month now with the middle bulb burned out in the gauge cluster, I decided to replace it. While looking at the back of the cluster I noticed 2 other bulbs missing. so I shined a flashlight in to see what they were. One was the "trunk" open indicator, the other was nothing (blacked out on the front). So I replaced the bad bulb and the missing one. Nice bright gauges and nice to have a working rear gate indicator.

Nothing major, but was driving me nuts.

As Stimmel says, yes, totally plug & play although there is a control/resistor box you need to mount/secure. Spyder LED 3rd brake light and CCFL Halo projector headlights go on tomorrow. Really impressed with CARid.com, ordered on Wednesday arrived today and everything looks great, only question is if there should have been a separate resistor for the 3rd brake light or if it is on the circuit board.
