I thought the alt upgrade on the 4.0 you have to shave off a part of the bracket

It is a direct bolt in. However there is an extra mounting location at the top of the alternator. When I replaced spark plugs last week this extra mounting location turned a simple task into a bit of an irritation. The extra mounting location makes it pretty hard to pull the coils off. I had to remove the upper bolt and rotate the alternator back to pull the coils off. I kind of wish I would of cut the extra mounting location off.

I knew you had to cut something off, but it's not required so that's good. Cheaper than a stock alt, why not!

Nice! I like the d windows, everyone's running the soft 8's it's nice to have something a little different and I liked the smaller backspacing on these as opposed to the cragers

Got rear ended coming home from work. Rear bumper is cracked straight across but everything looks ok underneath...hopefully. His car looked worse. If I would've been driving the ZJ he would've been totaled. Luckily the guy has good insurance.
