Found out that I broke passenger side front axle when I got it stuck the other day. I'll be replacing it tomorrow. I drove with it broken for a ways so I'm wondering if I should open up the front diff and check for damage
Replaced my rear drive shaft U- joints, cleaned up and rust encapsulated the drive shaft and greased the splines. I'm guessing those U - joints were originals. And at 200k...they did not feel like being cooperative.

Hopefully the axle seals kept any debris out. But, yeah, that made me cringe. Lol
Returned the remote start I got on Black Friday for it. Best Buy sux lately. Can't find one to install in a 30 mile radius and they're all booked through January. Now that I found the remote start write-up thread here I think I'll attempt it myself.
Drove from Grand Rapids to Holland with my newly rebuilt rear drive shaft. Nothing fell off, so that's good. lol. Oddly though, my gas mileage appeared to be down during the first half of the trip. It came back up towards the end. Assuming that was just due to everything being really tight at first.
Also, trying to get rusted on U-joint caps out of a drive shaft after they've been in there for 200,000 miles in Michigan...bollocks. I bent my 6 ton press.
