Had to stop for a trail fix - shifter linkage fell off of the transmission and left me stuck in first gear. At first it was definitely an 'Oh Sh*t' moment, but once we figured out what it was no worries.

Washed the salt off, again. Gotta love the unlimited washes for $12/month.

Scored a pair of brand new hood supports for $5.50 each. Now I just need to decided which of the two WJ's is most worthy for 'em

So think I solved my misfire problem. Weird too. Tested the injectors on the drivers side all are between 11 and 14. So for the heck of it I swapped the new coil on cyl 7 with cyl 5. No difference still ran horrible. Swapped the brand new coil for the old coil I replaced it with and it runs smooth now. No misfires and my fuel economy is coming back. Sitting at 15.9 avg now. I guess maybe I will go to the dealer for coils from now on.

Amazon carries Mopar coils for $35 each, if you have a Prime account they are eligible for free two-day shipping.

As opposed to all you guys up north taking pictures of you WJ in the snow. I figured it was a gorgeous day to massage her down with a little carnauba. So I couldn't help but post some pics of the sunset.
