Put a nice dent in the rocker panel under the passenger door and crunched the pinch seem a bit. Ordered sliders from JRC the end of November but couldn't wait to go have some fun. They will finally arrive this Friday so i will ahve them on before my next outing. Christmas present for me!

Ran some sea foam through the vacuum line and some in the tank. It seemed to run a bit better at first but right back to misfiring on cyl 7 again this morning. Time to swap some injectors.

That's exactly how I got mine off. Took a few days of spraying and letting them soak though.

Today I got my Elmscan 5 compact USD OBDII cable in the mail. And I ordered the Lava OTG & Charging cable for my Galaxy Tab 2 10.1.

The mount should be here any day too. I also downloaded Torque and a new theme pack for it. I need a few more things to get everything buttoned up and installed properly, but the system is well on its way. Huge thanks to Theksmith for his writeup with his xoom. It got me wanting to do it with my tab!

Still waiting for the fender flares in the mail. I'll likely be waiting atleast another month. Oh well.

Noticed the engine was chugging at idle and sputtering when taking off from a stop on my '00 4.7. No CEL or codes stored. I changed the plugs last weekend and noticed one of my coils was cracked near the tip where the plug seats. On a hunch I went ahead and pulled that coil, here's what I found:

Yep, looks like the coil is arching against the spark plug tube through the crack. Good news is since my wife's WJ is down with a leaky water and PS pump, I'll just rob a coil from her WJ until my Mopar replacement from Amazon shows up.

Just curious as to why you didn't go with a wireless bluetooth OBDII plug in? That's what I was planning to do and to hook it up with the torque app

This was over the weekend, but changed out the intake/exhaust manifold gasket, valve cover gasket, CCV elbows and grommets, throttle body gasket, and cleaned and checked everything for any vacuum leaks. Wasn't too hard of a project, except the bottom manifold bolts that were impossible to find without having somebody else guide my ratchet from underneath. The only hickup was I cracked my intake when I was installing it. It must have been caught on something and when I attempted to install the third bolt, it cracked all the way through the 3rd intake runner, about 80% around (the aluminum around the injector hole held it together). Ended up taking it to a family friend and he welded it up for $30, so I got off lucky there. I couldn't find anywhere on the gasket where it was leaking, but the newer gasket seemed to be made better and I have not heard any whine since. It also runs smoother now, idle and everything.

Intake ports after I pulled them off. Kinda gunky in my opinion...
