You guys suck. It was 3* this morning at my house just outside SLC with a high of 18*. On the bright side, I finally got my WJ titled and licensed.

-8 and a high of 5 in central Wisconsin. I put a new radiator and thermostat in today. Little turbo heater kept it about 35-40 in the garage and sum carhartt bibs and it was a toasty morning for me!

Replaced the 3 u-joints in my rear driveshaft, the proceeded to break a strap bolt off in the pinion flange. Looks like its time for u-bolts.

Found the culprit of my rattle in the front end. Top shock bolts appear to be a little loose. I tried tightening them but can't get the goofy plastic clip with the hose on it off the top drivers side shock bolt and my hands to big to fit down there. Any suggestions?

Hytek Put your left hand down around the engine side and use a loonng pry bar with your right hand. Good luck. I zip tied it to those little tubes that are in the way rather than remounting it.

Thanks for the tip. I ended up using a really long nose pliers to yank the booger off. Turns out the bolts weren't loose after all....the upper shock bushings look shot. That would explain why I'm hearing that loose rattle sound more now that it's cold out. I was planning on Bilstein HD's eventually but that might get bumped up now if that all has to come apart.
