Today was a sad day for me.

I've been planning on buying an 04 WJ for the last month, and the dealership had a layaway program to give you time to get the down payment. Well today I go to put the rest of the money down and drive it off the lot.

They sold it.

So no WJ for me... :L

I've wanted these for awhile now. I can give up this deal. As far as wheelin, there isn't too many places. Just some state forest trails, my parents land... I wish there were more places. Anything out your way? State College?

I live in a town called Houtzdale, bout 30 miles west of state college. BFE, and we got plenty of good places to go. Couple awesome spots for crawling, some spots for ridiculously large mudholes, and some places even have some sweet hill climbs. They all have names but if i told ya you'd be lost lol.

Good for you man. Way to get in there! I know I would have too many screws leftover to even attempt that. Good thing I live in Fl. Thumbs up!

No more misfire codes and seems to run fine. Light came back on for a P0205. Gonna put a new a TPS in it tomorrow. It's cheap enough so I might as well replace it. If that doesn't do it then I'll start checking the injector and wiring.

Stealership. Wow.
So they were just holding your probably nonrefundable money till you could actually pay the whole down payment? I thought if you put it on layaway, it was yours and they just held it.

Not today, but last weekend fixed the Blend doors (finally), and discovered my heater core was shot when we got everything out, and someone, not naming names and not saying it wasn't not yours truely had a brain fart and broke the recirc door during the whole ordeal.......
But luckily stealership was still open so got replacements for both of them and was able to finish everything and went out to celebrate in the mud the day after with jmac.

Had a frustrating day trying to fix my blend doors today. Spent the money, waited the time for shipping, disassembled glove box and cut the hole. Hmmmmmmmmm....... wait a minute my blend door still works. Turns out it's the plastic driver on the motor. Dammit!!!!!!! Top it all off I left my wallet at work! Good thing the Napa parts store manager knows me. He gave me the part and is letting me pay tomorrow. Sorry rant over.
