Didn't do anything to the WJ recently. However I did say goodbye to the ZJ yesterday Took it out for one last drive and gave her a quick bath before handing the keys over to the new owner. Now that I have a bit more space in the driveway and a little more time on my hands, I can get some of the maintenance stuff done the '00 WJ to make sure I have an rather uneventful winter of daily driving.

Oh, and I updated my sig

Washed her and jetwashed every part including the underneath.....messy but neccesary after a week in Cornwall parked 10 feet from the high water mark in some very strong wind with the sea spray soaking her.

Yeah, I have been considering doing that, too, lately. Chrysler seems to have had a bad run on their badging and lettering. It doesn't last very long before peeling. I just replaced the "Jeep" on my hood and liftgate.

Drove it for the first time on icey roads and remembered how much I hate the tires on it. Should've taken the zj to work today. Tires for the dub just got bumped to the top of the list of Jeep mods.

That ought to be your next tat.....The Overland logo

As for my today's WJ story......I drove it in semi-icy conditions and saw a few people slipping and sliding but I completely forgot about the winter storm warning until I got to work at which point I said "Oh Crap I should have taken pics!" I honestly couldn't tell you if my QD engaged the front wheels or not but there were a couple of times when I though about it that I figure it probably did.

It's like an early Christmas around here (actually they're birthday presents) Today!!

The UPs man brought me a set of JCR Offroad sliders and The Post man brought me a set of Fawkes Front Shackle mounts. Only sad part is that I'm heading out of town after work tomorrow and won't have time to install any of it until next week
