Yep. If by gauges, you mean the lights, I put a small, white LED flashlight behind each socket to see what the gauge light was, then changed them. PC74 wedge LED. Some of the gauge lamps were unreachable, but I don't remember which ones. I don't think the white back-lighting is replaceable, either. There are gauge overlays that you can buy on eBay to change the color of the gauges.

Lazy day today, but had to change to Winter wheels on my moms car, so while at it, despite -4C/25F, i did some small things.

-Removed licence plate bracket, wow that thing was ugly,

image-3207702792.jpg

looks much better with plates right on the bumber

-Attempt to do a fluid change on the transfer, but fill plug was "stuck"
So i didnt want to F up like last time, will do it later when i have better tools, heat, whatever needed.

-While under there, had another look at the exhaust, clearly a crack in the rear, and in the front of the muffler, where is my Kolak exhaust!!!?

Well it was about 80F on Monday then a cold front hit and dropped it down to mid-low 30s the next day and now it's 35 and raining. When it comes to cold I'm the first to admit I'm a candy-arse LOL

Wired up an auxiliary port. I am getting horrible quality and some feedback. Anybody know how I can fix that?

Got my 265/70/17 Goodyear Wrangler Authority tires on my JK Moabs, plastidipped my Moabs, and went for a trail ride. Did a little flexing on the trail and realized I need to trim a little more of my bumper and now I have to rewire my fog lights. The tires didn't want them in my WJ anymore.

Aside from bypassing my amp internally (see How to fix Infinity Amp thread), I also installed a chambered muffler I got for free. No clue what it is, but it's black, and it sounds really good. Not marked at all.

These things are EASY to do exhaust work on!

Spent some time swapping out the CV axle shaft on the passenger side. Took some doing, but, for the most part, went relatively smooth. Strange thing is, I have an odd squeak coming from the front end. Apparently on something that spins, because it's a repetitive chirp at slower speeds (rolling to a stop).
4WD was grinding...still working on figuring that one out. Noticed diff. fluid was pretty low. Filled it, and quieted down the front end...I don't see any fluid leaking on the ground; no puddles. Wonder where it's going...

Bought a new rear upper control arm and ball joint. Gonna need it to warm up a bit before installing that bad boy...

There's a thread on here on how to tap into the tape deck to create an aux port. You just have to search for it.
