Had been on a 3 hr HWY drive. Next day, started up and noticed my odometer had an interesting looking mileage thought I would take a pic. Also welded my door stopper thing back together (one ear had broken). Works good now

Well, if I had run through some leaves a felt a thumpity-thump (no disrespect or fun being made of the situation) , I would have gotten out to see what I hit. I have three girls, two in college, now, and a teenager, but I remember when they used to love to play in the leaves, but we would never let them go near the street. I realize that you can walk inside for a minute thinking nothing will happen, but it does. It's a sad situation all around. Nothing would be more painful than the loss of a child, much less two.

I FINALLY, finally, finally got around to building the extender cable for my Mopar Integration kit last weekend and installed it this morning. I hooked my iPad up to it and it works perfectly. I can raise/lower the volume and flip through the songs using my steering wheel buttons. I still have all the previous functions of CD and CD-changer. I can now flip through AM, FM, CD, CD changer, and Satellite/aux. Which is the iPad/3.5 mm jack function.
I had to hide it under the center console, because that was the only place it would fit. I ran the cables out of the side, below the cubby, so that any passenger could also reach it.

So after all of that I ended up ripping my Air Dam off of the bottom of the Dub, and I'm wondering if this skid mounts in the same spot where the dam was?

I gave my big guy an oil change and discovered a coolant drip underneath the passenger side. Fun day.

I think it mounts behind the air dam. I don't think it would have saved yours.

Damn, well I wasn't too worried about the air dam, just was hoping to replace it with something sturdier.

Ummm, nothing....But I did run a trail that I have been avoiding since I bought my WJ after watching several youtube vids. I continue to be surprised and amazed at what this WJ will do with everything stock (including tires) like mine is. I watched a vidya with a stock wj on stock non-ATs climb a trail fairly easily that a Toyota...whatever their midsized suv is called 4wd with ATs was only able to get halfway up and I said You know what I bet the old black beauty could do that so off I went. (that was before the beers of course LOL)

I also need to replace part of the intake...I forget what it's called but it fits over the throttle body.....Dangitt I can't remember what it's called.....Diffuser or volumizer or something like that....LOL Too many beers on a Saturday night watching the game.

Brought it home! Traded mt 97 tj for a 2004 wj. Also ordered a pioneer radio with bluetooth and ipod connectivity to replace the stocker. Super excited and time to start saving for lift and tires.

Just ordered some bilstein 5100's and a MOOG super trail boss steering stabilizer from Kolak. Next on the list will be my IRO 3" lift. Slowly but surely this WJ is coming together.
