Well worth the hour or so it took.

What did you get it out of and how'd it install. Plug-n-play or cut wiring?

Got it out of a 1992 ford Taurus. Only had to cut one wire which is the "window down" wire (violet) I cut the harness that comes from the motor itself to preserve my vehicles wiring. The ford relay gets wired inline from the switch side and to the motor side of the aforementioned wire. Then just tap into power (tan/blk), ground (blk), and "window up" wire (bro) so you can stop the auto down.

Works great and you can use the auto down from the drivers side switch also. Be sure to get as much of the harness from the donor vehicle as possible to leave yourself enough length to stash the module. I used industrial 3M double sides tape to mount the module in the door.

Put in Philips 9012 HIR2 bulbs to replace the low beams. They're brighter and whiter for sure. I no longer need the fog lights on all the time like before. I'm not to keen on the beam pattern though. You can see in the pics below that it's not a capped bulb like the OEM 9006XS. We'll see how it goes but so far no one flashed me. I had to modify the tabs for them to fit which was fairly easy. The hardest part was getting the actual headlamp housing out and even snapped a tab. I learned my lesson after the first one and sprayed wd40 on the other tabs and greased them per WJJeeps.com recommendation for easier future removal.

Against the garage door the one on the left is the hir2 and right is oem. Kinda hard to see the difference in this pic though.
Here you can see the tab I had to modify

I used a small wire snips and smoothed it out with a file after. Cut little pieces so the whole tab doesn't snap off. I realized doing this that any 9006 will fit too even though the plug is angled. Just needs a little finesse to get it to fit

Drove her up to Bogus tonight, to check out the first snow :-) my god my 6 KCs are bright as day, but if still want to replace my roof lights with a led light bar, and use a couple of the KCs for back up lights. I really wish I had a money tree growing in my back yard :-( Sent from my iPhone using JeepForum

Got it stuck yesterday playing around after doing some hunting. Had to get the tractor to get it out but had a blast doing it.

The rear of my WJ had a wobble and I could here the sway bar vibrating in the bushings over some roads.

I replaced my Addco sway bar bushings with new set and its like night and day.

Had fog coming out my vents on a cold morning. Looks like I get to undress her this weekend. Heater core and evap have been sitting on my bench all summer of course!

My heated seats also decided to sh@t the bed this morning..looks like I get to repair the broken wire for the third time!

Oh the joys of owning this Jeep.....
