I'm gonna start gathering parts little by little because I know eventually I'm gonna need to do the same thing, and you might as well replace everything while you're in there. I've read a few of the write ups and talked to a buddy of mine that did his and, all though I've heard its not hard per se, it's just a big Pain!! Good Luck!!

Did both rear wheel bearings and seals. Took off differential cover sandblasted and repainted it. Sandblasted and painted double cardan shaft. Now I have a question for those that rebuilt the shaft. How do you take out the centering ball? Where do you get the differential pinion seal and cruch sleeve? And the dust cap? Found one plqce with dust cap but w/ shipping comes out to$17 total.

185 plus tax, i think I get pretty good prices, I have a commercial account with them. Most of the time they are on point with rock auto with the benefits of a mom and pop joint

I haven't been around much lately, just closed on a house and I've been running around crazy. Sucks it took so long, I was hoping to have a lift on my WJ by now. It'll have to wait until winter's over before I start lifting it. Anyway, back on topic...

I actually washed my WJ for the first time in a very long time. I'm really liking the new look, I can't wait to paint my headlights next. Here she is all clean...

No luck with loading pictures right now. I'll try to do it later...

Thought you would keep it as a spare for your next WJ. In case when you find that "rust free" one its got a duff motor!
