Finished removing the bearings, races and seals from my surrogate axle assembly. Oddly, the thing that fought me the worst was the pinion seal.

Love seeing pictures of your Jeep so I know what mine will look like one my cladding is painted (hopefully tomorrow). Thanks again for the wiper assembly. It was what I needed to start painting the exterior plastics today. I'll post pictures when I'm done.

Installed my RF 300-1 and JL Audio 10w3v3-2 10" sub. Amp went under the rear seat, drivers side. I've got a temporary box for the sub now until I make a custom one.

Ya? It wont be that maroon much longer, I think I want to paint it. the paint is bad, the color hides the chips well but once your an arms length away you really see. And its the whole jeep not just a few spots. Take a look...

My jeep looks like someone drove a riding lawnmower down a gravel driveway with my jeep in the destruction path.

Same paint, trim, wheels. Lots of chips, scratches, and dings.

I've also been toying with painting the cladding black as well, probably with Monstaliner (this stuff looks amazing). Been wanting to paint the wheels black too, but after seeing yours, I'm not so sure. It's just a bit much for me...

Ive always liked the all black "murdered" out look. For your cladding or anyone reading this who decideds to paint it, DONT use this

I put 4 good coats on, and it lasted ok all summer, thru car washes and rain, with some touch ups here and there until last week I went thru a car was and this happened.

What a wonderful design...

Have a new idea for the cladding and bumpers now, ill inform you once I do it and if it works. I havent read about anyone even mentioning this so excited to try.

Thanks for the heads up on the DupliColor. I'll be using Krylon Fusion for mine. What did you use for the wheels?

1) Change oil pan gasket (4.0L)

2) Removed and replaced 42RE governor soleniod and pressure sensor.

3) Replaced transmission fluid filter.

Oil change on Saturday. 6 qts. of Rotella T6 5W-40 and a Wix filter. BTW, Napa has T6 on sale for $19.99 a gallon, then Shell is doing a $5 rebate per gallon.

While checking out the damp oil pan, which I'll probably hold off replacing until next oil change (which should be early next spring) I noticed the driver's side valve cover gasket is leaking again, but at least that's the easier of the two to replace.
