Fixed a leak in my washer line, added some brake fluid, and then did a little wheeling with my dad. All in all a good day so far for my WJ.

New lift struts for rear lift gate and glass - $80 plus a torx socket set since I didn't have any. Tax return well spent - cheaper than the medical bills for the otherwise inevitable concussion. Plus the torx sockets will get used on many things on that Jeep.

Added a 3.5mm jack to the radio yesterday. Spliced it into the CD changer harness, spent about $15 total. I'm thinking the next time I do it, I could probably do it through the normal radio harness "out" connector. Used the guide from the FAQ and wjjeeps.com for the harness since the post in the FAQ didn't apply to my '99. Going by the post in the FAQ, it keeps the CD changer playing a CD.

Nah you did it right the first time. If you wire it to the output harness of the radio you wont be able to control the volume with the headunit and the signal could mix with the radio ouput and the factory amp wants a high level input and your ipod/device wont be able to do that. CD changer is the right way

It takes 2.5 pints (approx). Note that if you have, a vari-loc axle, you need to add a couple of ounces of friction modifiere. The tie rod can be a bit of a nuisance to work around, but if you have a long flexible funnel or better yet a pump, it will make filling it back up much easier.

Attempted to remove my bent to **** running boards, failed. Soaked the bolts in rust remover for about 20 minutes but still couldn't get them to budge.

yea i know the D30 takes 2.5 pints but people were saying that the solid diff covers are bigger and when you will fill them you don't reach the fill hole. so its hard to tell if your low when you reach in
