Might be trading up soon!
Very nice JEEP.
VERY pricey, if it was me He would have to provide proof of ALL PROPER maintenance done (I dont mean owners manual maintenance I mean PROPER JEEP maintenance) for me to even be at 9,000.

So I'm trying a little experiment... Bought some clear matte plasti dip and I'm trying it on some left over plastic chrome pieces from another car. Looks like a brushed aluminum/satin silver now. If it turns out well then the grill and wheels are getting de-chromed tomorrow.

No problem. I hope it looks good because the chrome is driving me nuts.

Transmission isn't bolted up to the engine yet. But after that, just button up the front end and put my new drive shafts in.

I used clear matte plasti dip on these plastic chrome pieces just as a test. I think it turned out well, almost like a satin/brushed aluminum look. Gonna do the grill tomorrow.

Took the grill off and separated the chrome off to spray a few coats of matte plasti dip. Letting it dry now....pics to follow later today.

Btw I love how easy it is to take it apart. Thank you WJJeeps.com!

Sad story time

The 99 WJ I went to go look at ended up being a POS. Ended up not being able to find a WJ that was in good enough shape in my price range in the short amount of time I had to find a new vehicle. I expected some defects with a 13 year old vehicle, but people just don't take of their stuff.

So I ended up getting a 99 Acura TL with 105k and 1 owner with all dealership service records. Absolutely hated it at first, but it's starting to grow on me, I guess

I do plan on getting another Jeep when I get out of college, though and I'll probably still be around on the forums in the time being.

(I know I shouldn't be advertising here, but I need to get rid of this stuff I won't be able to use, sig)
