Hope you've got a 4"+ lift planned. Either that some serious trimming planned.

Pretty close, 3.5" lift is planned. The new tire is in front of the one on the Jeep so it looks a bit bigger than it really is. Dropping 17" JK Moabs with the stock rubicon 32's is pretty common on WJ's. Sounds like there will be some minor trimming on the front and minor rubbing on the shocks in the back while flexing.

I have the stock JK wheels on mine with wrangler SR -A tires on 3" IRO lift no trimming or rubbing. But you may scrub the inner fenders with those BFG M/Ts. They will look good.

I would if they had bigger tires on them. Then I could paint my JK wheels and use these for winter tires

I got running boards that he PO had put on. Never liked them that much. Just scored some rock rails for $200, so I am going to paint them and install them, but they did not come with mounting hardware. I will either have to buy from dealer or go to a hardware store. Already bought the textured paint for them. Hammered silver. My jeep is silver, so I hope the paint is a little darker than my Jeep, to provide some contrast.

Get a twin wire to one wire adapter, with steering wheel control, if you have those and if the Sony works with it. If not, it's cheaper without the SWC.

I really like those! I've planning my lift now (sometime in the spring I hope), and have been looking at wheels and tires.

Makes me wonder why so many WJ owners go down to 15" wheels. Those 17's looks sick!

Installed an Aussie in the rear, transfer case skid, and some tow points in the front

Oil change with high capacity oil filter and checked the tranny fluid as well as the fluids in the front/rear diffs as well as the transfer case. Just got the tranny serviced less than 500 miles ago.

Also going in today or tomorrow for new AT tires. Nothing fancy, my WJ is stock height so I've decided to stick with stock sized tires on it.
