How much plastidip did you use? Thinking of trying it out. Lots of ppl talk about it. For doing your rims can you with the tires still on? Ive never used it so im unsure.

took all of 3 hours time and saved me 70 bucks or so by fabbing them myself instead of getting IRO's. All they cost me was some time, welding materials, and 10 bucks for a foot of 3" exhaust tube.
Looks great!

Helped my mom pick up an 04 with 4.0 and 102k on it today from our local Jeep dealership. Was kind of a hassle with a ****ty salesman and sale manager but she got a great deal. Cleanest 10 year old used car I've ever seen. Only rust I could even find on it was a little surface rust on the driveshafts when I got it on our lift at work. Even met the PO. Old man that only drove it to and from work. Had maintenance records damn near to the mile on every factory service since he got it in Dec 03.

I'm actually kinda jealous since I've been looking for one for a DD, but I want a Limited.

Any suggestions for DD mods? I ordered her Quadratec all weather mats and some window rain guards and I might be sticking a 2" BB on it as well.

Picked up my new head and rod bolts for the 4.7 reassembly. Still waiting on the crank.

Anyone know if it is possible to tune a 2000 wj? Any programs that will cover it? I work at a shop with a pro tuner, but he only has software for subarus and mitsubishi evo's. No jeeps :/ I'd love to turbo it but if I can't tune it then that plan falls down the drain.

This is the one I have been looking at. Does anyone have a review from this seller?

If you're not fixing it, you're not driving a Jeep.

That is how an HID bulb looks like but on a so called 'plug n play' kit. The bulbs are put on a base other than they are designed. (should be a DS1 or DS2 base)

The middle of the bulb is what holds the rare salts that make them work. Mine when it blew went black. (changed it out a couple weeks ago)

Looking at the bulb and how it's designed you can see how HID's produce light totally different than the filament in a halogen. This is why they won't work in halogen housings.

FINALLY fixed my steering issue. Was play in the steering box. The one I got for $20 that had been obviously rebuilt and not very old from the looks of it. Works beautifully when I test drove it. Was a ***** of a time getting the one bolt off though. So $34 and an afternoon my steering is like it's new again.

To do a double din? Cut out the subdash. I'm running scanner and HU there at the moment. Scanner is a bit wider though unfortunately.

Got bored and took the superchips off the niner and put it on the 4.7. Was fun driving it before but now it's a blast. Only loaded the 87 tune for now. Just the change in shift points is worth it, it'll hold the gear a lot longer now. Can't imagine what this motor would be like with a custom tune.

^^^ That's awesome man! Must steal that one and do something similar, thank you!

Swapped out some bulbs for LEDs. I did 2 different kits to cover all bulbs, and 1 white 1 blue, so I can mix it up.

The pics don't do them justice at all, they are way briter than stock. A bit strange to get used to tho, lol
