Got a new engine code and began trying to figure out the cause and fix it.....Engine code is P1494.

Leak Detection Pump Sw or Mechanical Fault

Incorrect input state detected for the Leak Detection Pump (LDP) pressure switch.

Researching fixes on other tabs as I type this....

Installed the Moog Super Trail Boss steering stabilizer to help mask my death wobble until I can get home to replace the tie rods and track bar bushing. Next is all 4 rotors to get rid of the brake pulsation and stop it from triggering DW too.

A little FYI, Advance Auto has a pretty nice coupon code of $30 off $100 or more if you order online (can pick up in store right after). Its TRT30. Was able to pick up all 4 rotors for $97. Obviously, they are not anything fancy, but I "warp" (still think warping is not real) so often, its not worth buying any expensive ones.

You should've used TRT40 at Advance.
What calipers do you have on the front, Teves or Akebono?

I actually think thats the one I used. It was originally $137, so it was $40 off. I have the Akebono upgrade. Better than with the Teves, but still starts pulsing within a year or so. I bought the Stillen drilled/Metal Matrix pads from Kolak twice and both pulsed bad after 1.5 years. Definitely not worth the money in my case.

Thats weird. I still have the original rotors all the way round on my 01 Laredo (bought new with 16 miles on it, now 108k). Never had a pulsing problem and have only had them turned once. And they are Teves calipers too. Never bought anything but the med grade pads from AutoZone with lifetime warranty. I swap them every 2-3 years.

Changed the spark plugs @ 205k. First change ever! Pulled the hose off the TB where the PVC connects in, idled at 1200-1500. Found the detached hose, pulled the resonator back out, and felt a huge crack when reattaching it to the nipple. Idling OK now, but I guess I gotta get to a dealer to find some new hoses (can't find them at Advance, O'Reilly, or NAPA).

Wonder if anyone sells a "complete rubber hose kit" for the WJ.

Yea, some people have no problems at all, others are like me have changed rotors more times than they have changed their oil. I have checked the hubs, axles, and the runout and everything is within specs, I just go through rotors like tanks of gas...

How about trying the classifieds? This isn't really the appropriate place to try and sell your wheels, I'm sorry. Not trying to be rude, just informing.

HAHAHA Amazing all the people at sea that need a vehicle! Should tell them you're CIA and would be there to see them in the next couple of days. LOL
