Yesterday, swapped out the 2WD axle beam with the '00 D30 with 3.73 Vari-Lok gears. I swapped the '04 calipers, caliper brackets, and rotors over to the D30, worked like a champ! Everything from the ABS sensors to all control arms, track bar, and drag link hooked right up to the D30, no mods needed. Today, I installed the OEM front skid plate, which I found at a junkyard for $15! Here's a pic of both items:

The 4BD2T is a 3.9L iirc. The thing is, with minor mods, you can make them ridiculous. I've even read in instances where they increased max rpm to 5k with an output of 500hp and 800+torque.
I think the biggest thing about going diesel is the 30+mpg, the incredible amounts of torque, turbo, and blowing smoke (yes I'm one of those guys). Oh! And manual transmission

Removed Viper alarm the PO had put in the Jeep. It was nothing but in the way and draining my battery so off with its head.

Yeah, looks so much better than my stockers with 9005's.

Good job on the install. Did you paint them or were they painted before you got them?

Thanks, I did paint them, but, they need another coat as the install did give both pieces some scratch marks. I knew this was going to happen, so, it's all good.

It was unreal the amount of crap they had spliced in and running all over the Jeep. It caused nothing but problems to the ignition and then a constant draw on the battery. The WJ feels more reliable already.

You will be lucky to get 20 to the gallon out of one of those though.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got yourself an electrical problem!

Just purchased my anti/go-away death wobble kit (all new TRE's , upper and lower ball joints and rear ball joint) from jeep 4x4 center. After install, the WJ is off for another alignment with hopes of eliminating DW.

Installed LED's in my reading lamps, courtesy lamps, cargo lamp, installed a Jeep sticker on my high-mounted 3rd brake light and put an LED in there as well as my license plate lights. Already had LED brake lights. Found that I ordered the wrong lamps for the EVIC and climate control. I ordered the twist in lamps for the EVIC, but that won't work for the climate control, as they have to be soldered in. What did you all order for those?
Replaced the wife's radio in her 2000 T & C, but I'll have to modify the bezel, as her old radio was square, and the newer one is the rounded type factory radio, with a built-in aux jack.
Today, I started my RB1 install. Got my radio in, but started to get too dark to get my iPod integration kit installed. I'll have to do that later. Where did you guys put your box for the iPod integration kit? I read where one guy found room to put his in sideways, beside the radio, but there's no room. Only place I can see is under the cubby hole/power outlets/seat-heater switches.
