What brand? I just checked with the AutoZone near me and they had no Akebonos. Compressors were way expensive than NAPA's.

Finished installing my ZJ driveshaft in my WJ.. I replaced pretty much everything and a got a yoke from IRO (through Kolak). It all looks great and absolutely no vibes at all. I think I ended up spending about $200 on the whole thing so I think it turned out pretty well and cheaper than buying one new.

In other news.. The doodlebops that changed the transfer case fluid the last time pretty well stripped the top fill plug and when I went wrench on it completely stripped out. Spent several hours today finding out how to fix.. Ended up using an easy-out and had to drill through the plug to make it work. Hopefully didn't get too much metal in there. I kept on dousing it with oil and most appeared to come out with the bit.

Glad it is done though!

I am finishing getting all the supplies to paint the WJ semi flat black with a monster green pinstripe. It should look good.

Jusr made bfakes maintenance, changed front rotors, pads, caliper pistons, rear pads and spresurfaced rotors.
It tokk almostg 6 hours work (in the shop), i had stand by the mechanic so he wont "distract" with other clients.
Had to have a few words with the shop manager to get more attention.

Now after, having done brakes, engine service, diff, gear... service, we are ready for Duna Grande, the biggest off road concentration in Peru........

We alrewady more than 100 trucks in a 3 day trip, to the highest dune in the world.......

Made an appointment to take the heep to 4wheelparts in raleigh to get my front end looked at. Hopefully they can tell me what parts are warn out and causing my DW... Ready to pull the trigger on new Moog tie rod ends, Moog super trail boss ss, all new rotors (a once a year replacement for me), and a track bar bushing from NAPA.
