Think I finally have the front end alignment dialed in on the wife's WJ. No more driveline vibrations when accelerating onto the freeway and wheel returns to center nicely, now I just need to adjust the over the center on the gear box a bit and it should be perfect.

That's right. I put the pucks on I think about 6-7 months ago. Everything has held up pretty good except my stock UCAs the bushings are about shot so it is time for the upgrade.

Have you tried to use a razor knife to trim around it before removing the tape?

Nicely done ^^^

Are the budget sliders as beefy as the premium? I wasnt sure if they just didn't have the angled bar or if it was more than that.

Oh they are frekin beef!! I think you're right about the premium being the same except the extra bar sticking out. They look nice and simple.

Just out of curiosity, do you think that skid would make your transfer case run hotter??

Maybe a couple degrees, but nothing that I'd be concerned about.

Well, It was a long last weekend. I sold my WJ to my brother 2 years ago. I went to visit my parents last week and he was there. I helped swap a heater core and did the blend door repair as well. That was fun.

I also did front and rear brakes, rotors on my sisters 01 WJ. It was a WJ weekend for sure.

For grins and giggles, I pulled a spark plug today to see what kind of condition they were in.... I'm positive that they were original plugs with 175K on them, there was almost NO electrode left on any of them, and the ground arm was worn away a bit on all of them. This is one of those times I wish I had a decent phone to take pics with!

A new set of O.E. NGK's and the old gurl is running better than ever.
