On the topic of trickery in the case of the dropped WJ, I'd think it would take a fair bit of work to get it that low. Custom ifs? Durango ifs with drop spindles? 2wd with a custom bent tube? The possibilities are endless really.

You wouldn't have a listing number or seller that you got them from would you? I'd rather buy from someone that is known to ship etc.

Also had a rattle sound start a couple days ago. Figured it was something exhaust related. Finally got under her and found this:
Welds are toast.
Can they be re-welded?
Are these pre-cats?
Do I need these?
Will I throw CELs without them?
Will I lose too much back pressure without them?

Not sure if that will work so the item number is: 400319507269.
And I lied they were only $84 shipped.

I've got the exact same rattle with the same problem, except mine look a little different. They look like they were pressed on, instead of welded. It's more of an annoyance than anything. I'd bet if I could just pry a piece of metal or a screw in there, it would stop rattling. With yours, if was welded once, it could be welded again.

I didn't do anything to it as I'm about 1000 miles away on vacation, but since we were passing through NY, I stopped at Harbor Freight in Albany and bought a 12v compressor and a new floor jack. The trunk on our Elantra is stuffed to the max now!
