Got some of the junkyard parts put on. Installed the trailer harness this afternoon and the self dimming mirror just a few minutes ago. Still pondering the underhood evap conversion. I want to trim the rear bumper cover a bit and to do so I'll have to clear out the left rear corner.

Removed my tow hook, brushed it and painted it and put it back on the jeep.

I took a pic but stupid forum limits wont' allow it so you'll just have to take my word for it.

Nice.

How was the install on the auto dim? Was it plug and play?

100% The plug and harness are held by the backing plate for the overhead display. I pulled the 3 screws for the sun visor hooks and the display. It has 2 spring clips that holds it up as well. Liberating the plug from the backing plate was the hardest part.

She's in storage as of last night. Had nowhere else to put her and now I have to pay monthly. I just hope she's safe, I'd hate for my light bar and stuff to get stolen by someone who wants it. Hopefully I can figure out my motor situation sooner than later

Hopefully won't be too much longer until you can get it in and running again!

Had the transmission rebuilt. Its smooth and leak-free once again. I also ordered a driveshaft conversion kit from Carolina Driveline to convert it to double-cardon/single-cardon design. I'm really hoping that works out okay.

It wasn't today, but over the last week I installed my lift; 2" IRO coils, Bilstein 5100's and 3/4" poly spacers up front, along with replacing all 8 of the isolators. Then yesterday got my tires from Kolak mounted up. 245/75r16 Duratracs on 16x7 soft 8's.

Pretty stoked on how everything turned out. I have many, many more plans for it.

EDIT: Sorry for the driveway shots. Havent had a chance to take it out and have a little fun yet.
