Removed the dang factory front skid plate. Mine was the one with access holes in it but aside from an oil change, how is anyone supposed to get anything done with that thing on?? I can actually see what's going on in the front end now when I roll under it

Ran regular Non-hoat coolant for 12 years and the water pump looks good as new.

Also, a big bug I found between the radiator and the condensor.

Yeah I learned this too after installing 6 radiators in a month and a half!
Removing the header bar gives you an extra 2-3 inches of play. Just enough to get the radiator in and out.

Bought a steering wheel cover from AZ. Got sick of crusty leather coming off in my hands.

I just kept reading about how people took off their bumpers and headlights and disconnected their AC lines. That's way more work then you need to be doing. I thought I would show people that it really is possible and not hard to do it with out removing all that stuff.

After a long and arduous (one week) search for a leak in the AC system, finally fixed the culprit. Loose valve stem on the low side. Probably should have checked that first. Keep it simple stupid.

Thats good! I'm lucky enough to have a friend who bought one of those sniffer things. If I ever have a leak I should be able to find it quickly.

Well thinking I might have some bad news. After looking through other threads it seems my 4.7 HO might have a blown head gasket.

Oil in coolant or coolant in oil? White smoke out of the tail pipe? Loosing coolant and you dont know where?

Well that's my problem. It doesn't look like there is any coolant in the oil and if there is white smoke it isn't much but I'm loosing coolant and have a cylinder 1 misfire when I first crank it up and then that goes away.

Installed the correct cd changer cord to get my factory changer to work with my recently installed RB1! Also continued prepping my recently acquired overland rock rails for some fresh paint
