Mine isn't there either. I went to the local scrapper armed with a screwdriver and checked at least 5-7 WJs for it. One fully loaded V8 had the harness but the panel was gone so I can't say whether it originally had the outlet or not. One other had the harness cut out with the tail light, so no call there. The remainder did not have it.

I was also looking on the other side for a factory tow package harness. No luck there. Looks like me, some wire, tools, and a diagram are gonna have a splicing party soon.

I can get you a tow wiring harness. I think the rear aux power too (I'll have to check to be sure)

I will eagerly accept any advice or help I can get. | Built Not Bought # 736

They call it fossil fuel for a reason - Close enough wise guy. Maybe Dinosaur poop contributed in some way.

Washed the Jeep yesterday, and guess what? It apparently decided to rain in the middle of summer in Bakersfield last night. Since that never happens I was extremely perplexed as to why my Jeep was filthy when I got in it to run to CarQuest to pick up some Zerex G-05 coolant this morning. So when I got home I had to hose it down and dry it off to get the dirt spots off. I cleaned my wheels too since I was gonna do that today anyway.
