I got my 04 grill installed, and now all I have left for the 04 front end conversion/chrome delete process is the 04 front bumper. Will probably go with a Limited style 04 bumper, but I have considered the Laredo 04 bumper. It would probably be a pain to get smooth enough to paint white and not show the texture underneath, but I wonder how it would look. I kind of like the different shape it has with the two bulges on either side. Either way, I want I'm not sure if I want to keep with grill center silver to match my silver JK wheels, in which case I'd probably paint the metal lower trim piece (that 04 Limiteds and Overlands have) silver to match (or see if there's a "brushed" bare metal one as opposed to the chrome?) - OR - I could paint the lower trim piece black (so it would look similar to my current bumper) as well as the grill and then either paint the JK wheels black too, or leave them silver.

Basically, I'm not sure if I want the mostly black and white look (with the black emblems, tail lights, black 04 Laredo headlights, dark tint, etc.) with the silver accents (wheels, grill, lower bumper piece) or if I just want to go FULL-ON "PANDA". Full-on black and white always looks good, but I think the silver accents thrown in are also kind of nice and more unique.

Let me know what you guys think I should do. I "photochopped" a pic below to show what it would look like with an all black grill, if it helps.

Currently:

How it COULD BE with black grill:

Oh, and I also did this. It's not done, as I want to add a lock, add some rigidity to the "drawer" (which obviously used to be the cup holder), and some black foam that's cut to shape, but I think this is a cool mod.

For the people who say that you can't replace the radiator on the 4.7 (hydro fan) without removing the AC condensor/Dis-connecting the AC lines-

Ran regular Non-hoat coolant for 12 years and the water pump looks good as new.

Also, a big bug I found between the radiator and the condensor.

Is it broken?

The rims that were on my WJ when I bought her had quite a bit of corrosion, especially on the front wheels. Heard good things about Plastidip so I decided to give it a shot. I think it looks great!

Also sacrificed my CD changer for a 3.5mm auxiliary input for my phone. Sounds MUCH better than the tape adapter I was using. Had some really bad electrical noise from my alternator when my car charger and the auxiliary input were plugged into my phone at the same time so I picked up a ground loop isolator that fixed the problem without any noticeable loss in audio fidelity. Sounds like a common problem for adding an auxiliary input to a system that wasn't originally designed for it.

Finally got around to installing my new 2.5" tweeters. Definitely a huge improvement, so here is to hoping that they don't blow right away.

Replaced burnt out blinker bulb, and Superchipped. I wanted to correct the speedo now that I have stock Rubi wheels and tires on there. Bummed out about TPMS Anyways, tossed on the 87 tune and now when I start it up it revs like I floored it. (Just once, just when it first starts) No ill effects other than that. Normal?

Not normal. I'd call Superchips. Their customer service is pretty good.

Gah. I'll probably just remove the tune. I never noticed a difference anyways. (Though coming from my mouse 3.8L, driving the Mrs' V8 is a pleasure either way lol)
