Even with the driveshaft I think I would've been sol because my front right tire was dropped into a hole and my front frame rail was touching the ground. And I don't think my quadradrive works properly because I was only spinning my right back tire trying to get out

Finally fixed my rear rattle that was driving me nuts. Rear shock lower mount was wallowed out and the bolt was moving up and down. Welded a big washer to the mount and all is well for the first time since I bought the damn thing.

I also figured out the TRE at the pitman arm is shot and most likely what is causing my terribly vague steering. Lucky amazon has the parts on Prime!

That's what I was thinking. I've been looking on Craigslist for a dana 44a that has an open diff for a couple weeks now.

Transmission leak repaired in time for a drive from Chicago to Louisville. Good food, good bourbon, and 23mpg (hand calc) on the road. The new general grabber Hts tires were great, just waiting on the stillens from kolak!

For any of you guys who have the Ultra Gauge OBD reader, it reads transmission codes. That was nice to find out. Ive had mine for over a year and never knew it could do that.

Pulled the rear bumper cover to clean up some rust, mount a cb antenna, and relocate EVAP components. Ended up just getting the cover off before the profuse sweating drove me indoors. I sweat all day at work. I try not to continue it at home. If my next home has a decent garage it will be air conditioned.

Changed my front and rear diff fluid a couple days ago on my Overland, but forgot to post. Also, I have a lot of fluid left over that I don't need. If anyone is looking for some 75w-140 diff fluid (Redline) with friction modifiers pre-mixed, let me know. I'd hate to see the fluid just sit in my garage. Here's a link to my classified post...

I was checking for scan tools that will clear airbag codes and reset the light. Autel, OTC, & Maxidiag are the three that I have found that will do it. They are also supposed to read and clear powertrain codes.

Right, but the Ultra gauge isn't just a scan tool. It has a constant customizable gauge read out for mounting on your windshield.
