With my 102" fiberglass whip in my XJ I got perfect SWR. Amazing how far I could reach with it. Still have it, so can switch it back and forth with my 4' firestick. That tall has it's issues in underground parking lots.

You're saying the cable is already in the harness that leads to the EVIC housing?

Here's a rear view photo showing both ends of the cable in question:

yes... you already have the cable in your WJ. It's hidden under the headliner. How do I know, because I put one in my WJ too and just had to pull down the cable.

So, trust me... You've got the cable already...

I just finished installing my new left front window regulator. Since I don't have A/C, and it's 32 C (90 F) it's going to be nice to be able to put the window down again!

...you're a gentleman & scholar sir! Thanks for the Gibb's slap to get me going!

The black 7-pin connector was clipped in the front of the plastic tub for the EVIC. I pulled the D/side visor, visor clip and was able to gently pull the headliner down enough to feel the cable. The EVIC mounting tub was able to be rotated enough to visually verify it was the cable in question. Un-clipped the connector and plugged right into the mirror.

I also found more info in this older thread and thought it'd be good to link for any others: http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f310/...cable-1407162/

FML...pulled the oil pan to see if I could find reason for loss of oil pressure. Found small bronze pieces in the pan. ****

Crank has excessive end play (.08") so checked thrust bearing. ****

Pulled caps on several more bearings. **** **** ****

I switched my repenza driveshaft for a double cardan driveshaft from a jy and replaced my 3 ft firestik with a 102" whip antenna.

Thanks brother. Hopefully it does as well this weekend as I expect. Would be a bummer to build this after having my YJ and have it bomb.

Well there's always the possibility there will be some kinks to work out or whatever, but I highly doubt that Jeep will perform anything short of amazingly. I mean... damn. It's just seriously the holy grail WJ. The "Yeti Project" WJ is up there too. Rarely you do you see WJ that big and completely built that still look really clean and sexy like yours. I wonder how it would looks with some Bushwacker's, though.
