Looks like just after sunset. Low light = long shutter = impression of soft focus. Also, that would put it in the "magic hour" where the light makes everything look good.

Switched out the old plugs for new champion copper one. Wasnt too terribly bad for my first time doing it, knocked it out in under an hour. Almost had a crisis though.. the plug in the firewall passenger side broke while i was taking it out of the head.. thankfully it snapped and left the nut behind.
Other than that, built a homemeade cai for about 60 bucks maybe. Overall good day spent wrenching.

Ordered new rear pass side axle and all parts associated with replacement... Will go great with previously replaced front axle. The lesson here is don't go jumpin 8" curbs at highway speed.
New to site pics to follow , '02 grand with 4" lift Rubicon wheels n tires

I want to put the racing stripes on mine and just can't pull the trigger to do it.

Thanks! I wasn't sure what I wanted to do to the hood, but I knew I was bored and wanted to do something! I also only had about half a can left, so I was kind of limited on how much I could do.

I also finished up my box to keep some stuff in.

I had a buddy of mine that's actually good at painting do it. The door trim is still gold. He said if you paint that, then just opening and closing the door will start to peel it. He did use the pretreatment stuff. I am also curious how well it will hold up over time. The tail lights are tinted. Not plastidipped.
None of the pics are photoshopped at all. I told him I didn't want it completely flat so he went over it with one coat of glossifier. And that pic is under parking lot lights while the second pic was taken on an overcast day.

I'm guessing you used the liquid stuff that goes in a sprayer and not just spraycans... right?

Mounted the CB today. I'll be wiring it all up tomorrow. Still need to order a spring and antenna. I can't decide, 3ft or 4ft? It will be a firestik tunable.

Depends on where you are mounting it. I can't remember, it's either at least 1/2 or 2/3 above the roofline. Obviously 100% above the roofline is best, but is a tough mount unless you have a basket.

I'll be mounting it to the top of the driver side tail light. I'm thinking I should probably get the 4ft antenna then.
