I think I just got a Jeep wave from a cop! It was more of a thumbs up, but he really made a point to stick his thumb way up in his dash/windshield so I would see it as he passed going the other direction. Pretty sure it was meant for the Jeep. Pretty cool.

Actually turns out they did the whole thing out of the scrap bin so I didn't even have to buy the steel. The mounting brackets and the skid on it a .25 steel and the rest of it is 3/16. But if I did have to buy the steel it was going to be less than 50 dollars anyways.

I recently got pulled over for being in a hood I shouldn't have been in. Even though I was talking my wife down memory lane in the hood that we once lived in. Fuzz was suspicions of us in there. Pulled me over for a tint infraction. He loved my jeep. I didn't get an infraction.

Fitted new bushes and ball joint to rear A frame. Cant say I enjoyed it, in fact it was a pig squeezing new bushes in. The banging has gone though, there was no rubber at all in the old ones!

Well, the '89Xj 5spd is now gone. Went to a good home, so don't feel quite as bad. Got my garage space back so time to clean it up and see what I'm going to do with it. Hopefully LCA's will be put on friday morning.

Silenced the howling coming from beneath my WJ by replacing the transfer case side CV on the front driveshaft. Glad I didn't listen to the mechanic and get a new transfer case. Also replaced the rear passenger window regulator hopefully the plastic tabs on the other three are stronger.
