I took my Jeep for a drive in the heavy snow and then realized I forgot to put the rear wheel well liners back in . It made a huge mess

Took it out on some light trails, then got a poser pic

Picked up a new recovery strap, hitch d-ring, and spark plugs.

Also ordered a new fuel filter and a Midland 1001z CB for group trips (had a best buy gift card, so I got it for free ) Leaning towards a 3' Firestik II to go with it.

Should i rattle can it? por 15? rustolium? or have it powder coated localy (anyone?)

Ordered bilstien shocks from kolak 2 weeks ago and still no sign...
After I read your post I quickly sent him and email...

I'll get them tomorrow morning when it's light outside. I think it's a pretty clean install.

rattle can for sure. he dosent send them painted incase it gets damaged in shipping, also cause of the abuse it will take. if you rattle can it then touch up will be easy. powder coating will be a wast of money, unless its not going to see use?

Wjgerry, what skid did you get from Kevins. I got the transfer case skid they make to work with the Clayton long arms a while back and have yet to install it. When I got it and opened up the hardware bag, I couldn't figure out how it would install. I've called bryant at Kevins a couple times, but due to my schedule I always wind up getting the machine.

hey man mine opened up as well, this is the email from kevins i got as far as the hardwhere requiered. should be able to pick them up at a fastenal near you, or maybe someother store that sells special bolts.

My apologies, Brian. I'm sorry that the hardware got separated.

We use 3/8" thick by 2.75" long carriage bolts through the portion
that goes through the crossmember, and then we use 6 (3 per side) 3/8"
thick x 3/4" long self-tapping bolts.

If you have difficulty finding some locally, let me know, and I'll
ship you another set.

finished installing the JCR sliders and installed KOR dual stabilizers...
I do not recomend the JCR sliders. They were a pain in the *** to install. They were not engineered very well. I guess you get what you pay for...
