Just an HID kit in un-retrofitted projectors? You know without real HID projectors retrofitted into the headlights, HID's are just going to spew bright lights into the eyes of oncomming traffic and is pretty dangerous. It will also look terrible too, since it will be unfocused and will pretty much look just look like your stock a big glow of blue light (as opposed to nice, focused white light with a tight cutoff and a slight blue flicker effect, like on an Acura, Audi, Mercedes, etc).

the old one had a few parts that were broken

Good as new with the new Header Panel
Nice, which header panel did you buy? I was going to get one of the cheap $50-$100 ones, but I hear they're mostly junk. Kolak recommends the Crown one, but it's like $200. I'll get that if that's the only one that meets or exceeds OE quality, though.

I made it pass its MOT! Well a few days ago. For all y'all 'mericuns that's a yearly test in the UK where your car has to pass various 'safety' checks. The garage said it's the oldest car (2001 model) they've seen pass without any 'warnings' (ie these will fail it next time, unless you pay the garage lots of money to get it fixed there).

Coincidentally it's rearmost exhaust hanger rusted off (weld heat affected zone) and its exhaust was dragging - so bodged it back on with that brown goop, some sheet steel, jubilee clips, and loads of steel wire. The garage didn't even notice :O

Oh yeah and today my front passenger window broke off from it's mechanism and can be freely moved with palm of your hand, so I swore at it a lot.

I'm fairly sure its cheap. I went to the JY last year and bought a bunch of parts to include the header panel. We thought of the four WJs that came in, one would have a good header panel. It wound up that all had some issue or another so, since the deal was already made, George had ordered one for me online. It's pretty stiff and brittle feeling so, I think it not OEM quality... But, its better than what I had in there.

I will eagerly accept any advice or help I can get. | Built Not Bought # 736

Garage
If that doesn't do it, look into the KOR super hard bushings for the JKS Track Bar. Also, don't forget to check your TRE's for slop...

Scored a set of roof rails from a local pick and pull for twenty bucks. The donor was a Laredo that was the only wj in the yard. I was surprised I actually went to a junkyard for something and I found it. Anyways I sprayed them down with some truck bed linner and mounted them. Now I'm waiting for the roof basket and its another mod to scratch off the list.
