There's a washer in between the bolt head and the ss and then another between the nut and the ss. I think i will rotate it towards the back as recommended as well as add another washer.

Track bar, Bilstein 5100's and OME springs are next. Ordering a set of 245/75/16 Duratracs today.

May I ask what kind of problem you were having? I replaced my right tweeter, but during high volume, with a lot of bass, I get some popping sounds and I am unsure if it is the tweeter or the door speaker. SOUNDS like it was coming from the tweeter, hence the replacement. Went away, but probably because I wasn't playing the right song. I noticed it popping again, during high volume, lots of bass, so I turned down the bass, and it goes away. Some people might say, turn down the volume, but it's rock & roll, it's meant to be played loud :-)

I hope where you are, it is automatically the person, who rear-ended you's, fault. That's the way it is in Ohio. My daughter and my wife both were rear-ended within weeks of each other. People not paying attention.

Very sad day, I sold the jeep yesterday and it just hit me today. ...I still can't stop coming on here though it's just a habit now.... it went to a guy who has an overland and loves jeeps and he is taking it to the jeep festival this month in pa which made it even harder cause that was going to be my first jeep gathering....oh well just gotta get use to not seeing my baby parked in the garage.

Garage
I went to change the shocks today, started with the back drivers side, bottom bolt, and SNAP! Tried everything I could tonight but couldn't get the broken part out. Will probably have to cut the nut off and use a bolt and nut.

Is there anything left to grab onto? Hit it with a good penerating oil (have some from a FORD dealership I was given I use) and let it soak in. Then heat the crap out of it with a torch and hit it with cold water. Haven't had it fail me yet. If it's broken off flush, drill into it and use an extracting bit. Should then come out pretty easily.

Good luck!

The beatings will continue until attitudes improve!
