Removed the clear coat (or at least what was left of the clear coat) from the rims in preparation to paint them this weekend. I really need to start taking before/after pictures.

Where did you buy yours? All the bull bars I look at seem too low and don't come up far enough to protect the grill.
I prefer chrome on mine, but then my WJ is a silver '03 Overland with the chrome grill parts just like yours.

The jeep is Sienna Tint Pearl Coat so I'm just going with Metallic Silver. I've seen the sienna with black rims and really didn't like it.

I am going to assume he used the Fawkes relocation brackets to bring the bull bar up.

I hear ya. I would still rather drive my WJ than my wife's Durango. Even with my blown suspension.

Its the hunter bull bar off of truckgeardirect.com. But to get it to sit higher on the grille I used fawkes fabrication's universal bull bar relocation mounts.

I recently had my trans serviced and they used BG fluid instead of the Mopar stuff. My trans seems to be acting up. Is it critical that the Mopar fluid be used?

I work with BG products every day on Hondas. The atf additive shouldn't affect your trans performance. They don't use any atf in the additive. If it was serviced properly, they would have used atf +4. They might have used regular atf instead.
