Nothin to the Wj today. But for the regulars if you haven't glanced at the general discussions stickies, Ratmonkey passed away yesterday or the day before. RIP. Thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.

"If you can't get there in a Jeep, You should reconsider going there."
Finally OT or me!!!! Yay! Realized rear passenger sensor wasn't working. Checked speaked, head unit. All was good. Checked door boot. Positive speaker wire was snapped and 2 more on the way. I rigged it til I can get a 4 channel amp and run new speaker wires.
How are people getting the speaker wires thru to the door? Drilling or smashing between the connector?
Drill. You should have at least two spare pins. Best to use standard wire and not rip wire (the stuff with + and - connected together that you rip apart). That stuff doesn't lend itself well to this task. Here's my two pairs into the door. I'll get around to posting an audio build thread... like we need another
That's 14 gauge in there, lots of room. Makes a NICE AND CLEAN install.
2002 WJ Grand Cherokee Limited V8 4.7L HO Quadra-Drive - just gettin' started
I've had a TJ for the last eight years, finally bought something with power windows and a place to smuggle groceries back from the store.
Just put this on Friday... 2" BB, isolators, and Bilstein 5100's (from Kolak, thanks!) Grabbed a set of Moab's off craigslist and plasti dip'd them black, as well as the jeep emblems, wood grain... removed the gold trim package. Added the 245/70/17 BFG Rugged Terrains to the moab's.
It drives like stock, love it for a DD. A few more things and then I'll start looking for another TJ to beat on.
Went through this weekend and changed the 02 sensors that the shop F-ed up by cross-threading two of them and replace my trashed muffler, Tore the dash apart so i could fix the Heater Core, blend and recirc doors, plastic welded the job that the guy who owned it before me did cutting through to get to the blend doors, which coincidentally caused my heater core to go bad. Fixed the leak i was getting that flooded my driver side floor board (Thankfully i took the carpet out a while ago and put truck liner down with drain holes with plugs) now i just need to wait till pay day and recharge my AC.
Edit: Oh and since i did not have the tools to do all of this I had to go to my fathers house in Ocala to do it, so a great test on the muffler/02 sensors on the way back on the 108 mile drive, Deffinate milage increase, used almost a half tank getting down there, little over an 8th on the way back avg 21mpg highway ^^
And no more E-light!!!!
