Overheated it while waiting in line at the car wash... I had it idling cleaning out the console and it chimed at me for the check gauges, luckily I had just turned down my radio or I wouldn't have heard it. :duhrock:
Shut it off, let it cool a little while still waiting. Eventually I was able to pull forward and wash it. I figured it had cooled enough while waiting and washing while off that I would be able to get in blast the heat and drive away so that wind from driving would cool it more and no longer overheat.
No it began to shudder and miss, so I parked it literally outside of the opening of the port (crooked
) of where I just got done washing. People got a little mad :rantscream: because I was blocking them but I was not going to mess more stuff up to make others happy., shut it off and popped the hood and let it cool for 15-20 more minutes.
Then drove away, got on highway and it returned to normal temps. The electric fan did not kick on at all the whole time. I know it was working a couple weeks ago too.
So the nickle and diming continues! Guess I'll have to get destructive at pull-a-part to get a new relay because they are under the bumper. Can't afford a new one.
